Two drug peddlers arrested under NDPS Act

The Lohian Khas police have arrested a drug peddler for selling intoxicant tablets.

Investigating officer (IO) Balveer Chand said that 40 intoxicant tablets(loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Rajdeep Singh alias Raja, son of Santokh Singh a resident of Nihalu Wal village.

IO said a case under sections 22/61/85 of the NDPAS Act has been registered against the accused.

The Mehat Pur police arrested drug peddler Narindar Kumar alias Bhima, son of Raj Kumar of Mohalla Kasba Mehat Pur, with 20 intoxicant tablets (loose) said IO Gurnam Singh.
