Villager arrested for brewing/selling illicit   liquor

 The Lohian Khas police have arrested a villager on the charge of brewing and selling illicit   liquor

Investigating officer (IO) Harwindar  Singh said 9 bottles of hooch, 20 kilograms of Lahann (raw liquor ), and utensils for brewing were seized from the possession of the accused, identified as Lakhwindar Singh , a resident of Kakkarr Kalan village.

IO said a case under section 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
