Woman among four drug peddlers arrested under the NDPS Act

  The Bilga police have arrested two drug peddlers on the charge of selling heroin.

Station House Officer (SHO) Palwinder Singh said that 25(20+5) grams of heroin were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Surindar Pal alias Shindi son of Harmesh Singh and Mapreet Singh, son of Balver Singh, both residents of Sango Wal village.

SHO said a case under sections 21-B, 61, / 85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.

The Nakodar Sadar police arrested a woman drug peddler, Puja, wife of Surjit a resident of Thablke village, with 5 grams of heroin, said IO Jagtar  Singh

The Lohian Khas   police arrested a drug peddler, Gurcharan Singh son of Jagir Singh, a resident of Mianni  village, with 15 intoxicant tablets, said IO Balver Chand
