Five  drug addicts arrested for consuming heroin.

NAKODAR  30 MAY 

The Nakodar City police have arrested four drug addicts on the charge of consuming heroin.

Investigating officer (IO)Rajindar Kumar said that the accused have been identified as Vijay Kumar of Preet Nagar, Jaswinder Singh of Talwandi Sangher in Shahkot, Rakesh Kumasr of Baghela village under Mehat Pur police station and Sandeep Singh of Ludhiana

IO said a lighter, a silver paper, and a plastic pipe used for consuming contraband were recovered from their possession.   A case under section 27/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.

The Nakodar Sadar police arrested a drug addict, Sulakhan Singh of Hairan village, for consuming heroin, said IO Major Singh.
