Married woman dies under mysterious circumstances

NURMAHAL 27 MAY

 A married woman of Phagwara village was found dead
under mysterious circumstances on Saturday.

Station House Officer (SHO) Krishan Gopal said that the deceased has been
identified as Lovleen Kaur, wife of Gurmukh Singh, a resident of Bhula Rayee village in Phagwarra.

Joti, wife of Ravi Kumar, a resident of Sunnar Kalan village, told the police that the deceased came to meet her and consumed some poisonous substance and died.

SHO said the police reached the spot
and took the body to Phillaur Civil Hospital for postmortem and registered a case under section 194 of BSSN.
