Unidentified booked for kidnapping minor

 The Lohian Khas Pur police have booked a youth on the charge of kidnapping a minor.

Jaswindar Kaur, wife of Rupa Singh, a resident of near the Government school, Lohian Khas, complained to the police that an unidentified accused kidnapped his minor daughter on the night of May 13.

Investigating officer (IO) Harwindar Singh said that a case under sections 137(2) (kidnapping) and 96(procuration of child) of the BNS has been registered against the unidentified accused, and further investigation is on.
