Two drug peddlers arrested under NDPS Act

NAKODAR /NURMAHAL 15 APRIL 

The Mehat Pur police have arrested a drug peddler s on the charge overselling heroin and intoxicant tablets.

Investigating Officer (IO)Gurnam Singh said 10 gram heroin,79 intoxicant tablets, Rs 4200 drug money, an electronic Kanda were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Harjindar Singh alias Reetha son of Makhan Singh a resident of Umre Wal village.

IO said a case under section 21-B/”2-B /61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.

The Nurmahal police also arrested drug peddler Babal Deep Singh son of Amarjit Singh a resident of Uppal Khalsa village with 129 intoxicant tablets said IO Bodh Raj.
