Miscreant arrested with illegal firearm  

SHAHKOT  30 MARCH 

The Shahkot   police have arrested a miscreant with illegal firearm.

Investigating officer (IO) Buta Ram said that the accused has been identified as Harmanpreet Singh alias Happy son of Paramjit Singh a resident of Dane Wal village

IO said that the accused was travelling on a motor cycle and was intercepted at a Naka and an illegal country made pistol (32 bore) and three live cartridges 7.65 MM and 32 bore were recovered from his possession.

IO said that a case under sections 25/54/59 of the Arms Act has been registered against the accused and impounded a motor cycle on which he was travelling.
