Three villagers booked for assaulting co-villager

SHAHKOT 28 MARCH 

The Shahkot police have booked three villagers for assaulting a co-villager .

Investigating Officer (IO)Jagdev   Singh  said the accused have been identified asHarwinder Pal Singh alias Hindu,Harwindar Singh aliasd Babla and Tirath Singh  residents of Talwandi Madho

Kamaljit Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused assaulted and seriously injured him on March 11 and threatened him with dire consequences.

IO said a case under 115(2),117(2)118(2)  (voluntarily causing grievous hurt) 351(criminal intimidation) and 3(5) (committing crime with common intention) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
