Shahkot miscreant arrested with illegal firearm  

NAKODAR 24 MARCH

The Nakodar Sadar   police have arrested a Shahkot miscreant with illegal firearm.

Investigating officer (IO) Major   Singh   said that the accused has been identified as Akash Deep Singh alias Akash son of Nirmal Singh alias a resident of Sadak Pur village under Shahkot police station

IO said that the accused was travelling on a motor cycle and was intercepted a Naka at Khiva village and an illegal country made pistol (32 bore) was recovered from his possession.

IO said that a case under sections 25/27/54/59 of the Arms Act has been registered against the accused and impounded a motor cycle on which he was travelling.
