Villager arrested for smuggling liquor

NAKODAR 7 MARCH 

The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a villager on the charge of smuggling liquor.

Investigating Officer Amarik Singh said that 12 bottles of liquor were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Nirmal alias Nimma a resident of Jahangir village.

 A case under section 61/1/14 of the Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
