Body of youth found hanging on tree

NAKODAR 18 FEBRUARY 

The Nakodar City police on Sunday found the body of a youth hanging on a tree on Shankar Road.

Investigating officer (IO) Dilbag Singh said the police reached the spot after receiving information and recovered the body.

IO said the deceased has been identified as Inderjit Singh alias Manga son of Madan Lal a resident of Pakho Wal village in Kapurthala who was living in Hindal Dhada village his maternal parent’s village for a long time and came to Dherain village to meet his sister and was staying there.

IO said Ramandeep Kaur wife of Ramesh Kumar a resident of Dherain village told the police that his brother was living tensely and left the house the day before.

IO said the police acting under section 174 of the Cr.P.C sent the body for post-mortem.
