Villager arrested with illegal firearm.

LOHIAN KHAS 14 FEBRUARY 

 The Lohian Khas police have arrested a villager Nakodar village resident on a charge of possessing an illegal firearm.

The investigating officer (IO) Balwinder Singh said that the accused has been identified as Harjinder Singh alias Jinder son of Jasvir Singh a resident of Chitti village under Lambarra police station

 IO said a country-made pistol and a live cartridge 7.82×25 were recovered from the possession of the accused and a case under section 25/54/59 of the Arms Act has been registered against him and impounded his motorcycle.
