Man gets 20 years term for raping minor
NAKODAR 13 FEBRUARY
The Jalandhar additional district and sessions judge Sarabjit Singh Dhaliwal has sentenced 20 years imprisonment to Yashpal alias Jaspal resident of the Bopa Rai Kalan village on the charge of raping a minor. The convict has also been slapped with a fine of Rs. 60,000.
The Nakodar Sadar had booked him under section 376(rape) of the IPC under sections of the POSCO Act on May 2017. His two other accomplices were sentenced earlier.
