Two  arrested with illegal firearm.

NAKODAR 12 FEBRUARY 

 The Nakodar City police have arrested two persons on a charge of possessing an illegal firearm.

The investigating officer (IO) Hans Raj said that the accused have been identified as Varinderjit Singh alias Vija son of Kulwant Singh a resident of Kamal Pur village and Harjindar Singh alias Jindu  son of Puran Singh a resident of Hussain Pur Bulle Kabir Pur  village (Akalian) in Kapurthala district  

 IO said a pistol (32 bore) (made in the USA)  was recovered from the possession of the accused and a case under section 25/54/59 of the Arms Act has been registered against them.
