Cabinet Minister Balkar Singh celebrates Lohri with people

JALANDHAR 13 JANUARY 
Punjab Local Bodies Minister Balkar Singh on Saturday celebrated the festival of Lohri in the circuit house.
Accompanied by MLA Raman Arora, MLA Sheetal Angural , Punjab State Container and Warehousing Corporation Chairperson Rajwinder Kaur Thiara, and others, the Minister wished the people on the occasion and spoke on the importance of this festival. He also prayed for the universal brotherhood, peace, and social harmony of the society.

Singh said that we should all burn our egos in this holy fire and pray to the Almighty for the prosperity of the people. He said that it was the traditional festival celebrated in every nook and corner of Punjab. He also urged all the people to contribute in the progress of the nation.

During the event, the Minister also lit a bonfire and traditionally performed Lohri celebrations in Circuit House.
