Unidentified booked for illegal mining.

NAKODAR 2 JANUARY 

The Nakodar Sadar police have booked unidentified persons on the charge of illegal mining.

 Mining Inspector Nakodar/Shahkot Ajay Kumar complained to the police that MKC company has been allotted a K1 permit for excavation earth in Shahkar village, but some persons were violating the permit limit and excavating more earth and indulging in illegal mining.

Investigating Officer Sukhwinder Singh said that a case under section 21 of the Mines and Minerals Act 1957 has been registered against unidentified persons.
