Drug peddler arrested under NDPS Act

 The Nakodar city police have arrested a local drug peddler on the charge of selling heroin and intoxicant tablets. 

Investigating officer (IO) Hans Raj said that 2 grams of heroin and 195 intoxicant tablets (loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Ramnit Singh alias Billa son of Paramjit Singh a resident of Krishan Nagar. Nakodar.

IO said that a case under section 21, 22(B) /61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
