Two villagers booked for assaulting woman

SHAHKOT 26 OCTOBER 

 The Shahkot police have booked two villagers on the charge of assaulting a woman.

Investigating Officer (IO)Dinesh Kumar said that the accused have been identified as Jagroop alias Jupa son of Bikar Singh and Dholi son of Paramjit residents of Billi Chaharmi village.

Jasvir Kaur wife of Balkar Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused barged into her house on October 22 and attacked her and her son with weapons.

IO said a case under sections 323, (voluntarily causing hurt) 452(house trespass) 148, and 149(rioting)  of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
