Unidentified booked for stealing cash, jewellery

NAKODAR 8 OCTOBER 

 The Nakodar city police have booked unidentified persons on the charge of stealing cash and jewellery from a house.

Naresh Kumar a resident of Mohalla Sunder Nagar village complained to the police that thieves barged into his house on October 5 when he and his wife were gone for work and stole $ 800 (Canadian) Rs 15,000 cash, 180 grams of golden jewellery.

Investigating officer Sarabjit Singh said that a case under sections 457 (lurking house-trespass) and 380(theft in dwelling house) of the IPC has been registered against the unidentified accused.
