Unidentified booked for stealing cash, jewellery

Nakodar 14 AGUST 

 The Nakodar Sadar police have booked unidentified persons on the charge of stealing cash and jewelry from a house.

Amrik Singh a resident of Kang Sahibu village complained to the police that unidentified thieves barged into his house on August 12  night and stole Rs 20,000 cash, 18  grams of golden jewellery, and 20 grams of silver jewellery.

Investigating officer Amrik Singh said that a case under sections 457 (lurking house-trespass) and 380(theft in dwelling house) of the IPC has been registered against the unidentified accused.
