Five villagers    booked for assaulting co villager.

SHAHKOT 14 AGUST 

 The Shahkot police have booked five villagers on the charge of assaulting a co-villager.

Investigating officer (IO)Sulinder Singh said that the accused have been identified as Jarnail Singh, Kamaljit Singh, Gurmail Singh,Karanjit Singh and Sarabjit Singh  all residents of Meinyewal Aaryan village

Sunny a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused attacked him with weapons on January 19 and injured him.

IO said that a case under section323 voluntarily causing hurt) (, 342(wrongful confinement) 451(house trespass) 149(every member of unlawful assembly guilty of offence committed in prosecution of common object.) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
