Villager arrested for stealing items from shops
SHAHKOT 3 JULY
The Shahkot police have arrested a villager on the charge of stealing water taps from shops.
Investigating Officer (IO)Balkar Singh said that the accused has been identified as Kulwant Ram alias Kaka son of Tarlok Chand a resident of Haji Pur village.
Madan Lal a resident of Model Town, Shahkot complained to the police that the accused and his accomplice stole water taps and fitting materials from his under-construction shops on Malsian Road on July 1.
IO said a case under section 457(lurking house-trespass)Â and 380(theft in dwelling house ) of the IPC has been registered against the accused and his accomplice Amana of the same village.
