Two thieves arrested for stealing from farmer’s  mansion

SHAHKOT 28 JUNE  

The Shahkot police have arrested two thieves on the charge of stealing material from a farmer’s mansion.

Investigating Officer (IO) Lakhvir Singh said that the accused have been identified as Dholi son of Charan Dass a resident of Mohalla Jogian Dharam Kot, Moga and Sandip Singh alias Deepa son of Harjit Singh a resident of Mohalla Loh Garh Dharam Kot ,Moga.
Hardeep Singh a resident of Jaffar Wal village complained to the police that thieves barged into his mansion on June 25 night and stole a generator and other items used in agriculture and other purposes.

I O said that a case under sections
457 (lurking house-trespass) and 380(theft in dwelling house) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
